Its not just the UAE we've just been told the company is moving the holiday to Saturday the 9th for some very odd reason, I am very glad we didn't book our trip based on this now

New year implies a fixed astronomical date. Something we can predict 100,000 years in advance.
Either stick with the ****ing calendar or make up your minds as to which ****ing day impacts the F1 the least. FFS is it Saturday Sunday or Monday ? Utterly ****ing bonkers |

They've changed their minds again. Now private workers who only do a five day week, with Fri and Sat off, can have the Sunday as a Public Holiday.
