My best weekend in ages..........
Up at 4am tomorrow for the desert drive to Bahrain (the sunrise in front of you as the sun catches the sand is glorious), meeting up with Deanetta and Deanlet (who are already embedded in the hotel there).
Then four days of reminding my son who I am and what I look like, then...... bringing them back to Riyadh for three weeks. They're well used to it (going back to 1993 in Deanetta's case), thankfully.
First time I will have seen Deanetta since our silver in May........ I'll have to see if I can remember how everything works.......

well the champagne was ok, good views but small bar and fairly pricey, 4 drinks = £40, downstairs bar was canny and belgian beer cafe, holy shît, it was RAMMED, could hardly get in, dead noisy, and mrs spugsy had some mussels and they were shite.
Still had a canny night mind, the hoogarden is delicious, mmm mmm!
