I don't drink any hot drinks, just water and the occasional orange juice if feeling a bit low, but tons of water, water is the key to weightloss, flushes the system out

Be careful with water.

Yes, drink lots but if you are exercising, ensure you use electrolites or take salt tablets.

in the heat of Dubai, i drink around 4 litres a day. Drinking that much doesnt come naturally, i do need to force myself to do it.

That is when sitting in the office. When im training in the summer, double that but i mix the water with aqualite solution. Looks like Irn Bru, tastes like cats pish but has everything you need to keep on going!!

you dont drink, you hydrate..:D

Don't diet: eat (properly)
Don't exercise: train

I set my iPhone's timer for an hour when I'm in the office, and have a big glass of water when it goes Boing Boing.

Hope you all have a good night tonight, Happy New Year!:D

All these regimes sound ghastly. I hate diets so will continue eating what I like, when I like. Fortunately I love salads and vegetables and don't drink much. I also don't enjoy exercise, but dashing around and up and down stairs a great deal seems OK. I am not overweight and I prefer to enjoy my life, rather than torture myself in a gym.

Good luck chunky folk! :D

When it comes to food and looks, and exercise I will go with Nigella. Works for her, works for me. :)
May not be 100% perfect, but heck, makes life so much nicer. :D

Not you! ;) It's a personal choice though, isn't it? A few extra kilos is really not an issue or a health problem. As long as anyone is not very over, or under, they really shouldn't fret about it too much. Too much body fascism these days IMO.

You are about half Nigella's size!

Nigella has a lovely face, but a huge arse (which is why she is usually shot from the waist up) but I bet she is way nicer, more interesting, intelligent and fun than that McKeith freak. I know which one I'd rather have as a friend.

Nigella is fantastic - all women.

Give me a women like that anyway, go to be better than a self obsesed exercise nutter - exercise adicts are so bloody boring!

Not really, but I am a bit shorter...and know how to dress ;)
And yes, that other woman(is she really???), is frightening.
Can't be bothered with torturing myself (exercise). Done that before, was all muscled up ...but I do actually prefer myself now. I like a good walk though. Preferably at a beach :D

The russian army has a simple solution to this:

3 core excercises - pressup, squats and leg raises

do them slowly one pressup should last you 5 min just to warm up - in one continous motion) (then working up to 15 mins) - this is just one pressup

most people cant do a single pressup for 30 sec

for running there are various breathing excercises that will physcially drain you in 10 mins

A gym session shouldnt last you more than 20 mins if done correctly and intensely

yeah it's funny how my personal trainer gets me doing loads of leg exercises, lunges etc to get fit and lose weight - I thought it would be all cardio, but I don't do much of that at all.

I have never understood the need for a personal trainer - just like a shrink - Bandler of NLP once said something like its in a shrinks interest to keep you as sick as possible rather than offer the solution which would reduce his salary.

Same thing for a PT - keeps you in a gym for 1 hr as it fits with his schedule and salary expectations !
