Re: Room 101 - Urban Myths
I posted a thread last week asking for ideas of things to do during my layover in Dubai. Perhaps you could show me your hands?

Governments are also incredibly rubbish and inefficient. If the 911 conspiracies are real it would mean tens of thousands of people are in on it. Given they can't get most tax returns filed correctly it makes you wonder how they managed to pull the wool on 911 so well.
Well done Hollywood, Michael Moore and all the other worst aspects of America than Europeans frequently decry but seem to adopt the positions of very quickly without looking deeper.

Re: Room 101 - Urban Myths
I get quite irritated with people who forward emails or post on FB about stuff that is clearly a hoax without checking it. People are so gullible and love to think that there are all sorts of evil people out there giving posioned sweets to children or making poisonous lipsticks. Takes second to check on Snopes.
An urban myth that is limited to a segment of the American populace is the belief (rivalling religious fervour) that Obama was born in Kenya and therefore is ineligible to be US president. There are complementary claims to Birtherism, one is that as Obama's dad was a British subject so Obama can not be a Natural Born American.
What kind of mental gymnastics does it take to think Obama successfully hoodwinked the entire US establishment regarding on he was born.

I dunno, I was just referring to Dumbo's example . I just don't like small, smooth, girly hands on a man. They creep me out. Not fussy about penises, tbh.

Having dinner with some colleagues in Riyadh this week, I was told Pepsi means 'Pay Every Penny to Save Israel'.
I started to laugh and was told it was not a joke. And they meant it.
