Not before time.

Re: Ronnie's dead!
No sympathy whatsoever, he's a murderer and should never have been given parole.
(When I saw this thread I hadn't seen/heard the news and thought it was going to be Ronnie Wood. Now that would have been tragic).

Probably have a bigger funeral than Mandela with lots of lovely friends and 'colleagues' attending.

Well that tops off a crap day.
Kix - how is he a murderer exactly? He didn't hit the train driver and the poor guy eventually died of leukemia, a completely unrelated death.

If the gang hadn't held up the train and smacked the driver and fireman over the head with an iron bar, then would they both have died so young?
Probably not.
I stand by my original statement and echo meow's sentiment (not often we agree) good riddance.
Expect barbara Windsor to be out soon saying what a loveable rogue he was, far from it.

There were too early deaths as a direct result of these murderers.

The BBC piece seems well balanced:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-25426914
I can't see where 'murderer' comes from..........

Re: Ronnie's dead!
Murderer on not, he was a criminal who rather than working for money like the vast majority of us do, decided it's easier to steal other peoples money. So what if it means beating up a few innocent people?
In an ideal world his death would have got not no press as ultimately he was a scumbag who brought no value into this world.
