Totally agree BM!
Watched some of the news coverage on BBC! Idiots being interviewed, scarves tied around their faces. Why? Probably to stop social security recognising them as not having a fkin bad back or whatever other lame excuse they use for not getting out of bed to find a job! Lazy, useless tw*ts!

David Davis recently complained about Big brother britain. Maybe it was his fans who were covering their faces not wanting to be filmed by the police doing something perfectly legal.

So people are rioting in London, well nothing new there.
What I don´t understand is why rioting because of a meeting that tries but the world economy on the path to recovery..
But maybe it was just a rallying point and the meeting secondary?
Anyway it´s rather pointless, the UK got an economy that in it´s total size is just a fraction of the sum of its global banking sector so UK Ltd will stand or fall by its banking sector.
So in a way the demonstrators after bricking the windows at RBS ought to have pelted Barclays with flowers as they despite their bonuses and all have reported healthy profits and avoided taking part of the "Taxpayers bailout".
Did just strike me that you seldom hear anything from an angry taxpayer in UAE..for obvious reasons of course!
But it raises the question if taxes are unavoidable?
All in all oil income accounts for just approx 25% of the UAE GDP and everywhere you see the different emirates having huge stakes in their local companies which of course earns them money.
Is it possible for a state to earn its own money without income taxing people?
Most would say no but looking at say Morocco or some other non-oil arab states it seems rather workable.

What a load of rubbish - it's clear these dimwits are just unable to understand why these bonuses and pensions are necessary. The government actually wants the banks to keep doling out bonuses, but they can't be seen to be approving them for the sake of votes. Why do they want the payments to continue? Because 40% is taxed and the rest is spent in the economy on things like property, cars, employing household staff etc. In addition, the banks and governments understand that we are going through a downward cycle and that it is crucial to secure the best people for future economical growth.
Of course it didn't help that city workers were waving 10 quid notes out the window at these jokers, but it's certainly not the first time, they did it 10 years ago in the last recession as well

the reason the BBC interview these people is so that people like you and other Daily Mail readers have a reason to hate protestors. Actually most protestors are peaceful but just wanted to make a stance against what has happened recently. Still a reasoned argument against the banking bailouts would not make good tv.

As for the ones who were masked, come on, get real. There was an element out to cause trouble as we saw.

This ambulance was meant for the guy who was assaulted by police and subsequently died, Ian Tomlinson (http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2009/ap...20-death-video).
Funny, rioters let it through but police dont.
