I was addressing the lucky folk in the UAE. We are the same here, no booze shop or hotels serving....

only one hour off my usual day, no eating or drinking in the office because we now work with someone who fasts. Also no going outside to smoke so no smoking during the day. Yuk

I forgot to add I get to drive home at silly o'clock.

I had a Ramadan pool party last year at the start and a poker night at the end so everything I had bought got drunk, even the crap stuff that had been there forever and a day. Not as much space this year though, that worries me.

Quite possibly the worst morning of my life the next day. Inviting newbies at the time around when they had not had a drink for 3 weeks was in hindsight not the best idea. I think everything got drunk even the 6 month old Martini someone had bought round......
