Piccalilli is top bollocks! Not the chunk, just the sauce (allergic to any and all veggies you see!).

So, a nice cold pint of....... Asahi, a bacon and sausage roll (with red and brown sauce) plus a bit of piccalilli in the centre as a welcome surprise! Boom!

Allergic to veg? That must be awfully difficult.

Anyways, I love the gherkins and cauliflower in Piccalilli, the little silverskin onions are lush too.

How about pickled cabbage and beetroot - only Ross's though - and NOT baby beets.

I kinda lied there an ickle teeny weeny bit! I'm not exactly allergic, just not a fan! Pickles of all varieties I am all over but not much else.

Essentially if it has never walked or swam I'm not a fan!

I'll pass on the bacon sandwich, and go straight for a large chunk of a decent pork pie.....which is incidentally what I'll be having for my first meal back in the UK on the 19th of this month... :)

I only decided to like pork pies in April. I've missed out on their glory for 25 years...

I'll have a bacon sarnie, smoked bacon, brown sauce, soft white rolls please.

Pint of Timothy Taylor or something else proper will do.

Harram is all the more fun in Islamic countries.

I have friends who lived in Tehran in the 70s who said it made Dubai look backwards!

Some venues are saying that live music ends tonight. I hope they are the exceptions coz Ramadan doesn't start for several days, no?

You have your own versions of fun, like stonings, multiple wives, abusing women, starving yourselves. Wait...that IS fun right?

I don't know. Getting stoned? Guilty. Multiple wives? No thank you, I've enough bother with Mrs. Janx, who dislikes this bored. Starving yourself? Well I'm an unheathy 42 KG, so I guess that all this MUST be fun...after all, what is the alternative?...Oh...Hmm, yes O.K. perhaps you're right, but I'd prefer a second opinion!

See...it's a right laugh.

Anyway, let's not fall into that debate again.

I enjoyed my last morning ciggie in the car this morning. Currently trying to work out where I can smoke during the day.

A guy I worked with in the UK was on the phone, fag in hand ready to nip out for one. Wasn't thinking too much and was chatting away. Seconds later he lit the fag, at desk, phone to his ear.

Priceless moment where he panicked, stubbed it out on his mousemat and blew the smoke in a draw whilst choking and trying to continue a call. It was awesome.

It's not that bad. This is the first year that I'm having to work normal hours though, that blows.

Time flies, this is my third summer and third Ramadan. I still remember joining this site as an utterly clueless chap.
