Qatar's new law re internet/cybercrime Scary Stuff
So Qatar is bringing in an internet law that states:-
Doha News
So if for example, you see a lunatic driving, take a picture or video of it and post it online, then YOU can be done for it.
Back to the dark ages.
The law also punishes anyone who infringes on the social principles or values or otherwise publishes news, photos, audio or visual recordings related to the sanctity of the private and familial life of persons, even if they were true, or infringes on others by libel or slander via the Internet or other information technology means.
So if for example, you see a lunatic driving, take a picture or video of it and post it online, then YOU can be done for it.

That has always been an unwritten rule; you can abuse maids, take bribes, kill people on the roads and so on. But the moment someone either says out loud what you did, it will be a bigger crime than the actual abuse or manslaughter...
