not sure in the time here i've had direct sttlement and claim back, just depends on the hospital/clinic but i have always had to have the doctor/clinic sign a claim form even for claim back.
not sure if thats standard i'd assume so tbh

well, let me clarify... technically I'm suppose to take a form along and get it stamped - I never have and they continue to settle.

I think it's more of a Carol Vorderman style gig:

punter: what do i do?
meow: <puts cheesy easy listening music on> well, I think you should consolidate your debts into a single easy monthly payment over 25 years.

Always good advice, don't you think?

Then planning budgets and payment schedules. Also scaring people by working out how much interest they will pay over a year if they don't act now, liaising with banks to reschedule borrowing and keeping them on track.

Several of the radio shows have also been about managing money and debts.

That annoying woman! Shockingly bad advice for a mathematician.

I was once told that I have a passing resemblance to her though.

Yes. Some will, but you need to speak to the right people, not just the monkeys on the counter.

No shame in having debts anyway - there is a lot to be said for spending someone else's money in a volatile region.
I wouldn't say discuss as such but there is alway chat about rent renewals etc and you just get to know how people are being paid etc. For example most of my friends will know that the company pay our rent as I have been on tenterhooks for the last month hoping they would increase it. Which they did

At the end of the day it is totally irrelevant how we are paid, what allowances we receive etc as if we weren't getting enough none of us would be here, it is how it is proportioned that differentiates each of us.
