You might want to check out the new VW Tiguan, although it may be slightly out of your price range - but then maybe not.

now if he was telling you he wanted to buy a Porsche you should be woried - Porsche drivers are less faithful than any other group of car owners, with almost 50 percent of them cheating on their partners...

yes I would go with a safer option too with a kiddie. a lot of the garages have used cars with very little mileage on them. they keep them off site in Al Quoz so it may be worth popping along to the garages to get directions or contact details for their off site sales

Re: Pajero -v- GMC Acacia
I recently went through the "what SUV to buy" dilema and also looked at several American models. Most American/Canadian friends told me not to buy American as they drove "like dogs" (Jeep) and getting parts here was more problematic. All subjective I know. In the end, my choice was boring - a Prado - but I love it. If you like Pajero's, strick with them!

I think the only engine options in the UAE are 170bhp or 200bhp 2.0l supercharged.
Beat the LR2 Freelander is road tests, and is very quick in the 200bhp version.
Is also quite capable off road, it is like a smaller Touareg.
