I recently went through the "what SUV to buy" dilema and also looked at several American models. Most American/Canadian friends told me not to buy American as they drove "like dogs" (Jeep) and getting parts here was more problematic. All subjective I know. In the end, my choice was boring - a Prado - but I love it. If you like Pajero's, strick with them!

I would never spend money on an american brand new car

example

2006 caprice was about 125k

today after 2 years and a half it worth not more than 65k and you can easily find it for 60k

so a second hand american car is better to buy because you drop half of the price just after 2 years.

but if you want a brand new one.. go for Japanes cars .. Pajero is an excellent choice far better than Parado with respect to price and fuel
