Day 10 today and starting to feel better- the migraines are easing off thank god and Im finding it a lot easier than I thought now!
Also went out on Friday on a bit of a bender and resisted smoking so very pleased with that one!
Also I have never shagged my trainer- although to be fair I would jump him given half a chance but he has a very nice girlfriend so hes not fair game!
PS I am now off the nicorette patches as well!

Ah yes...school days spent smoking cigars behind the polo stables and trying to get the local comprehensive school girls drunk on fathers Dom Pérignon

Except for us it was drinking home made cider, smoking Benson & Hedges and trying to chat up Welsh girls (maybe even find a sheep if we where lucky). Otherwise just the same.

Thanks all for your support and I must say I have found it a lot easier than I expected- well the not smoking bit- the physical effects of withdrawl have been quite hard, but enough to make me think I don't ever want to have to do this to myself again so woohoo! Having smoked for 21 years I have absolutely no intention or desire to start again. 
Have also managed to lose some weight which is great!

Agree about ex smokers being pain in the arses
Was in a hotel restaurant in Kuwait last night and took my meal in the smoking section. On the next table was 4 Americans who asked if I minded not smoking
**** off and move to the non smoking section was the reply.
I personally find loud Yanks more offensive than smoke to a non smoker
Well done on giving up. You might want to ask some of the other ex smokers on here if they can give you a copy of the book that lists all the annoying phrases you can use to preach to those of us with the filthy habit. I am sure someone will have a copy.
And what are you supposed to do after sex if you dont smoke ? Talk to her ?

I always found the post sex fag overrated anyway! Conversation-I agree with Millhouse or just kick them out -why do you want a bed hogging snoring man that makes you sleep in the wet patch!

Final update- today is my two weeks off smokes birthday and I am now confident that I am free from the habit! I can honestly say I never ever want to smoke again and now completely class myself as a non smoker- thanks all for the support and the sweet messages. Hoorah!!!
