Default Malls

We currently have 69 Shopping Malls in Dubai, I tend to use MOE the most as it is the closest to our villa, but I think Mirdiff City Centre is my favourite one. I love Wafi but I used to work there so it will always be a bit special to me. Which is your favourite and why? I know the men folk will say they hate all of them

I like Dubai Mall best early morning before it gets too busy, Husband used to live on Emaar Boulevard when he first moved here and when we first came to visit I was a bit overwhelmed and in awe of how glittery everything was over that side, the fountains still make me emotional and as much as I like them I do avoid them as I always wanted my Mum to see them, she would have loved them.

That aside I like Mirdiff too as it's less busy, not keen on MOE but only because the drive there scares me and that's only because I havnt done it often enough so am not confident and really don't know where I am going.

Ibn Batutta is okay but for some reason my feet really ache walking round there....do they have stone floors or something ?...I know some flooring can be hard on the feet. Manchester Trafford Centre used to do the same to me.

Same as above - Dubai Mall in the early hours is really quite pleasant
When it's late and busy, I'm happy with MOE - it doesn't feel like such a trek.

Haven;t been to Wafi yet but going for the first time this week! Heard it has mini golf and whatnot?

When it's not raining! Mirdiff CC has my favourite food court but we always shop at Arabian Centre because we invariably have the place all to ourselves including Lulus. I refuse to visit any mall requiring carpark entry barriers to be negotiated.

As if he'd spend more than four hours in a place that encourages the spending of money.

Mini Golf is all UV / Glow in the dark, it's quite cool but a piece of piss.

Mirdiff City Centre, I rarely go but every time I do I think it's worth the little drive.

Otherwise, I avoid them. Other than Waitrose, Dubai Mall for food shops.

When I've had a good month (which I have recently).

Otherwise it's Spinneys (good meat, same as Waitrose).

Otherwise it's Choithrams / Union Co-Op combo...although we get a lot of the cleaning stuff from Union anyway.

Carrefour occasionally but none too local / convenient and no pork

Waitrose pork section is lush, Lulu for most of mine, meat from Prime Gourmet (best in Dubai), cat food from Waitrose/Spinneys
