Too late - it had enough media coverage at the time; it's old news now.

do a search on youtube, its amazing.

But no, england would be a laughing stock if he got in.

Yes. Also, I've yet to see evidence he's lining his own pockets (although he's certainly lined the pockets of his friends).

He seems waaaay less corrupt than many local council chairmen are. And I still think Boris would be worse...

(The UK as a country had and has plenty of cushy relationships with murderous dictators, but nuff said on that)

Ah, the scapegoat Scargill - given the catastrophe that has been UK energy policy one wonders just how much of a buffoon he really was. I would imagine that if the UK still had 200 odd pits open (which was the case at the start of the strikes) rather than the 15 (which were all that remained after privatisation) then the UK would be enjoying a world lead in coal emmission sequestration, and be enjoying the benefits of high-value oil & gas reserves - instead of being in the current position where the lion's share of N Sea reserves have been sold for a pittance over the past 20 years....

Typical Boris - this is what I love about him. He clearly just wanted to rugby tackle the guy for sheer fun and to get some attention. It was a celeb match for charity after all

ken is a disaster...i voted for him cos he used to be my minister's pair, and he would crack me up with some things he came out with...but there's no way i'd vote for him now...he employs cronies, has some odd alliances (george galloway) and surrounds himself, in the main, with a bunch of unimpressive people...

i love the quote from boris when being questioned about his sexuality and whether he had had gay sex said "well, not yet..."

Well, it may be time for a change..... The MoL job seems to be reserved for mavericks and buffoons who can't do too much harm...

Yes and lucky for him he's not going to have to deal with the transport chaos and financial mayhem resulting from the Olympics because it looks like he doesn't have a hope in hell of winning anyway. The beleagured transport system is already running well over capacity and even with the planned initiatives there is just no way that London can support that many people. Here speaks a person who travelled on the Northern Line for 5 years up until 5 months ago!!

I would take Sheikh Zayed traffic over peak time on the Northern Line anytime.
