yeah, I know it's cheaper to go for the day, but that is not the idea...it's to have a break from the normal routine...

The most I've ever been asked for is a UAE driving license, they just looked at it and gave it back (that was Shangri-La in Abu Dhabi).

yeh i know in the past they have just asked for driving licence, etc but of course the kids dont have one, and i have been hearing from different sources that at different hotels on both sides of the country that they are "requiring" to show id for every member of the family etc. ok you can try your luck, as you live in dxb, but also heard of one family who lived in dxb and they had to go home and get the passports etc. 2 lots of people that have stayed at atlantis in the last couple of weeks have had to show id for everyone, kids and all, but maybe its the usual "hit and miss" attitude.
