No I can't remember that. I remember all the fountains and water and rocks around the middle of the stairs. Although most of the girls in there were so drunk they were pretty much dancing anywhere..
I used to go up there every month for a weekend from about 1989-1992. Was up there as part of an elite athletics group and crashed at a friends flat in Jarrow. But most of the weekend was around either going to Shields, or the club on the boat next to the bridge in Newcastle.

but you didnt know that at the time...
anyway im not going to get bent out of shape over it, i didnt even know the guy. all i am saying is that as per my PM'd advice at the time, that you should have organised it openly and not by PM. Didnt someone not know about it until the last minute and therefore couldnt attend?? that someone prob has 'known' SYB since he first came onto the bored. not 6 friggin months ago.....
i may have my facts muddled, if so i stand corrected....

We sent the invitations by PM because we didn't want the thread hijacked like last time. And the time before that.
But you knew all this, I think your slating of me on the earlier thread was just your way of sucking up to certain people on the Bored...
