Re: Jade Goody
All these posts have made me want to cry, god its not been a good day - work and stuff and Jade has brought up some memories.
I have booked myself in for my mammogram - Ive cancelled it 3 times - too scared and I shall have my PAP smear done next week as I am due about now.
I am thinking of everyone going through this in one way or another, thinking of everyone of us who have been robbed of our loved ones.

Auto, you shouldn't be deleting all those things, people need to see them.
Maybe then they will wake up, you can't just brush things under the carpet, they won't go away by doing that. Your just giving LH an easy way out and protecting him from further comments.
That photo is on the Sky News website, so why can't it be on here?

Your post of the picture was only to further fan any flames.
It's a tragic event that should not be further tarnished with crass comments - I hope posters will respect this.

Re: Jade Goody
I have the ultrasound prints framed by my bedside. They also stuck a probe up my arse lol, don't think there was any reason for it, just a brucey bonus..
I don't mind admitting I was scared, and having the urologist give me the all clear was like a new start.
I kept it from my family which was a bit silly I guess

I dont want to read someone's inconsiderate comments which only result in them being pleased with themselves for the reaction they receive.
This poor lass needs all the help and support in the world, even if it is from people she doesnt know.

As mentioned cloning immune system cells is promising...if we can shoot all the religious fundamentalists who want to ban stem cell and cloning research of course
I lost my mother to cancer two weeks before my son was born seven years ago...the cure's pretty much in our grasp but people are taking new approaches seriously and seem to prefer to zap people with radiation instead

There's a documentary called "To Courtney With Love" that was shown on UK TV a couple of years back.
13-year-old Beckie Williamson gave birth to a daughter, Courtney, only to be diagnosed with terminal cancer at 15. She died aged 16.
The documentary is of her and her sister Vicky and what they wanted Courtney to know about her mum. Courtney certainly didn't mind having an unwed teenaged mum; she loved her to bits.
One of the most moving things I have ever watched. My eyes are welling up just thinking of it.
Beckie: "It's true. Life's a bitch and then you die."

Exactly, how the hell can anyone be against stem cell testing when it can save the lives of millions? Seriously, how can these tree hugging idiots justify that opinion?

Re: Jade Goody
They justify their position with belief not reason or evidence and even have the gall to say it's "unethical".
