Which sort of reminds me of the joke that was the centrepiece of my university's rag mag one year, the punchline being "So you can carry her home like a 6-pack". If you don't know it, pleeeeaase don't ask...

If the Fuddruckers I frequented in Doha is anything to go by, get yersen to the branch in AD. They make very nice burgers, and you can pile your side plate up with masses of toppings. They make a pound burger. A full pound of minced beef...

Mmmmm... burgers... Now here's a subject on which I've done a serious amount of homework...
Of the fast food outlets, I agree that Fuddruckers is the by far best of the bunch.
For a somewhat more refined burger experience, the best I've had in AD was probably the one in Cafe Colombia at the Beach Rotana - really good quality, proper meat in a very thick patty, cooked to perfection.
Other notable efforts are made at the Y Bar at the Yas Rotana (the bling choice - all wagyu beef, porcini mushrooms and truffle mayonnaise) and Meat Company (for the very hungry).
At the other end of the spectrum, under no circumstances should you eat a burger at either Mugg and Bean or Cafe Arabia.

I always get sick when I eat at Mugg - have tried various things from the menu in both the one in Abu Dhabi Mall and the one above Spinneys - and same reaction......not pleasant.

Jones The Grocer do a good burger.
Best one's are Jamie Oliver's home made ones. Bloody fantastic, not an unsatisfied customer yet.

It has to be Burger Fuel for me, not sure about the outlets over here but the Kiwi version is 'sweet as bro'.
