Interesting. I know of a few events cancelled on 18th due to anticipated dryness and gigs for both Back Street Boys & The Proclaimers are on Thursday 17th. They won't be much fun without booze.

I have our team christmas night out booked for the 17th and I just spoke with the Shangri-la and the said it was going to be dry from Wednesday 18:00 until Thursday 18:00.
