Islamic New Year - Friday 18th December
 
After RTFF it appears that last year's dry day was the actual new year's day. JBH will not know until 13th.

Anybody else know?

But can 2nd Meow's assertion..

18th IS gonna be a dry night.. Had to cancel my plans for my 40th Birthday coz of it...

We were booked for brunch at Al Qasr on the 18th and they have cancelled it so looks like it must be dry 6 thurs-6 friday

Yeah, they just called us too. Dry brunch then booze sold in bars from 18:30 Friday.
