thanks all- I got back from the UK 3 weeks ago so have just come back from holiday- I think thats when I feel lowest as miss London soo much, and generally just get pissed off to be here.

I keep telling myself think of the money, I need to stay here til next April at the earliest for it to be tax free and I do want to save a house deposit whilst here to make it worth being here so I guess its get your head down and just get on with it, don't let the every day sh*t get you down etc. >>slapping myself around the face and trying to pull myself together<<

Being fair, HDDs get less marked as time goes on - I think you develop a nonchalant shrug and just dismiss whatever's happened as another facet to the wonderful world of Dubai. I also vent by recounting the hilarity on my Facebook status. One of these days, I think I should retrieve them all and compile a book!

No I don't, our emotions/feelings are a part of our own individual personality, i do believe the way you react to your emotions/feelings does change, its called maturity.

You either like the middle east or you don't has nothing to do with age.
