I never told my mum to her face that I hated her. I was too scared to.
I did discover at age 16 though that she had been reading my diary.
Apart from recounts of a few fall outs at school it had nothing else in it but how much I hated her

"Read this now you bitch!" and then I put the diary back in its hiding place.
She has never mentioned it to me to this day. That would be admitting what she did or asking me how I found out she'd been reading it.

I brought Jelly Babies into Dubai once after a trip home. I didn't count on my bag being left in the hot sunshine for a while. When we opened the bag, there was just one big amorphous, multi-coloured lump of jelly. It was fun eating it, mind!
