How often do you think about Death?

Re: How often do you think about Death?
I agree, there are times when you think about it more than others, but its not like it dominates my thoughts, I was just curious what people thought about it, as its generally a taboo subject, and often people say" Oooh no, I dont like to think about it' or something similar when asked or when it comes up in conversation
so why even bother thinking about it?

No don't really think about death, but my biggest fear is Alzheimer's.

oh cremation for sure...always said that but now even more, when our daughter died she was cremated...I wouldn't like the idea of her grave being over in Holland now we are here...and our other daughter takes great delight in showing classmates her ashes and telling them it's her sister in there...

well, as you can see, it's not a taboo subject in our house...
she never knew her sister as she was born after her death (they do share the same birthday though) and of course she is curious about it all...it's like a big mystery to her, this girl that everyone knows but her...so she likes to carry around her ashes and show it to people...which can be a bit of a laugh at times cause people don't always know how to respond...
