How Much do you Spend?
#31
FFS BC!!! Why does somebody have to be a "tosser" just because they like, and can afford, to buy nice things from high end stores? I would rather save my money and buy a pair of Louboutins or a good handbag than shop in some of the high street stores for things that don't last 2 weeks.

If you enjoy decent food, dont mind a splash of wine and eat out three times weekly... AED20k goes in a heart beat!

What a strange thread........ a bizarre question indeed.
How does anyone know how much they spend each month? Or am I missing something?
"Well I get paid 32,500, and after rent etc that leaves 19,250, and I save 6,000 so I suppose I must spend... er... 13,250...."
Who cares?

It's my fault, i thought through the answer but not the question. I find it expensive living here and rather than ask people in real life where it felt that it would be awkward, i thought it'd be fine on here. On reflection it is a crass question but i got caught up in the spirit of the save thread and was curious.
Sorry.
Sorry.
I spend much less than I was anticipating to before I moved out 2 months ago.

Total annual remuneration
Less how much you saved / invested
Less your annual rent
Less an estimate of how much you spend each month (x 12) on the other things
= your annual "spend"

I don't spend much - but then I am ludicrously and quite undeservedly overpaid.

I daresay you do, what with two children at UK boarding schools. 32K a month would just barely cover the fees and associated expenses.

It may be more than I get, but hardly silly money given what some other westerners are evidently paid.
