Hello again,

Been in Doha for a couple of months now and unable to get good coffee beans (or ground). We like fresh beans or ground coffee that we can make at home but have not been able to find good coffee yet. Not a fan of Starbucks so would appreciate if any coffee aficionados can guide to a place which sells high quality coffee beans and does not charge a fortune.

Im a nespresso man but there is a coffee shop selling fresh/roasted coffee beans behind Royal Plaza in Al Saad. Smells good

This is just behind my office - Decent enough selection. Much the same as yourself though I am lazy and opt for Nespresso’s. I even bought a machine for the tea maids to use and now have the office hooked!

Don't know if there is an Ethiopian community in Doha but I have sampled their excellent coffee in Bahrain, roasted fresh in front of you and served by a pretty habesha.....yum
