Default Golf @ The Address, Montgomerie, Dubai

ventured into Emirates Hills for the first time ever yesterday to play golf at the Monty in the RICS golf day.

Really gawdy houses fronting an average golf course in poor nick.

The water features stunk of shit and had all sort of algae.

Classy Dubai all over

Played well and did enjoy holes 9 & 18 though. Card wreckers.

I played there yesterday, first time in over two years.

Was really looking forward to getting on a beautiful, expensive course but was instead greeted with Meydan standard shit patchy fairways and varied greens which one second would be like glass, then sticky like mud.

Was disappointed but wanted to play it again.

I lay blame for scoring only 24 points solely at the 17th par 3, and a couple of the lengthy par 4's where hitting a 240yd drive still leaves over 200yds to the green....you're kidding right? S/I 11 or something as well? Get ****ed.
