Hi, I found this beautiful, big, fluffy white cat on my doorstep this morning. He was dirty, hungry and scared, but I don't think he is a stray. He is currently in my laundry eating a big bowl of cat food. He must belong to somebody. Please spread the word, as I will be in trouble if he is still there when my husband gets home...

Oh, by the way, I am happy to report that I have a new job! Yes, a new job. A really fantastic one. Nice people, my own office, great Media City location, more money, can do the school run in my lunch break... alas, no luncheon vouchers, but you can't have everything...

About that... every time I start a new job I promise myself that I won't spend so much time on the internet whilst I'm meant to be working. But I have never heard of anyone getting fired for spending too much time on the internet, so do they actually know? They must do, eh?

Anyway, back to this bloody cat... I just rang my husband to tell him and he's like, "oh, that posh thing that was in next door's car port this morning? Get rid of him.". I don't know what to do. Feline Friends aren't picking up the phone, I have started a thread on Expat Woman and on here. What else can I do?

How do you know he's Iranian? Is he a bit dodgy but alright really?

We have a big fluffy white cat (with different colour eyes) and I think she is a Turkish breed.

Doesn't help your situation but if it's rare you could wash him and whack him on Dubizzle and make some bucks!

I assume it hasn't got a collar with a number on but does it have any type of collar? Is that normally a giveaway as to stray vs pet?

You should either stick it back outside and hope it ****s off, or flog it on dubizzle.
