Moyes fits in with the ethos of the club . They want long term development with sound structure , that means world class coaches and Fergie moving upstairs to oversee the new boy . I think David Gill moves over to UEFA next year so it's all change .
They have a world class coach already in Rene Meulensteen so the timing could be perfect .

For me the interesting thing is when was the decision made by Fergie? With Pep out of a job until a couple of months ago if Fergie would have told the board that he was leaving back then Pep would be the manager next season.
Personally I think he would only have retired as a league champion.
