I had a cocktail of pethadine and DF118's when my knee exploded. I can recommend bacardi and coke with them for a night you will never remember.................

Odd you should mention Bacardi and Coke. That's what I've been drinking, 'cause you can drink it through a straw without problems (Guiness was messy...) B&C with a side of Tramadol makes reality drift away leaving just a hint of what's going on remaining. Good!

Had unbearable pain in crotch/pelvis for several hours, so finally went to emergency . Got painkillers intravenously and got prescribed Tylenol with Codine .

I took a beating in Sunderland many years ago which resulted in fractured skull, five breaks to the jaw and a titanium plate being inserted (it's still there).

It was a long three months of recovery, diet mainly consisted of fish and ready brek (not together)...the worst part was having had the nerves cut in my jaw I would chew on the inside of my mouth with no pain but a lot of blood, along with the smell of food that got caught up in the metal wires.

My advice is play the sympathy card as often as possible and take whatever drugs the doctor offers you...it got me through it.
