The old Jim Davidson cuntly attitudes come out again.
It's just a sore point, as the more this goes on, the less need there will be for us western expats.
The bitter , cuntly views expressed above prove that some pof us DID used to be checkout assistants at Tesco, and deserve nothing more. The good times will end sooner or later, and they won't need us any more.

meanwhile back in the real world the rest of us realise that the percentage of emiratis working outside of the government is about 5% of the population and at the current rate of expansion into the private sector we should be safe until about the time hell freezes over.

my only real professional interaction with a local bint was in the Standard Chartered bank opposite Jockeys.
The veiled ninja couldnt count up to 1000AED. it was 10 x 100AED notes i was wanting to deposit into my account.
She had to get her fillipino assistant to do it, whilst she took a phonecall on her diamond encrusted vertu phone. She was not in the slightest embarrassed or botherd that she couldnt count
thick as a gurka's foreskin.
and for that reason alone, i agree with Shiva.
