I prefer the A380 Emirates economy to the 777, but the latter isn't that bad. I fit in the seats perfectly fine at 6'2".

Service is a lottery. Had lots of good, a few great and two terrible.

If going to the UK, Virgin Premium Economy is the way to go.

It's not a legroom issue its shoulder room and the narrow aisle.
Emirates have a 17inch width compared to 18.5 on airlines like Cathay and even British Airways has 17.5 on their 777's

The problem with Virgin is that ghastly Branson Wallah who is behind it. Spends all his money on balloon flights.

You know what, I've never even considered the shoulder width.

I'll go do some research because if I'm ever (rarely) in the middle I have to sit arms folded...

I imagine your greatest concern is whether you can reach the overhead lockers....

What brunch? When? Eh? The one in AD? Just stayed at the Viceroy and did Origins (I think it's called). Better than I remembered actually, nice, relaxed. Mum enjoyed it.

Yeah, you were asking about brunches in AD.

Glad it worked out. What else does one do at Yas?

Yeah, was really good actually. The rooftop bar there was nice too. In fact, apart from lunch at Yas Links on the day we drove down we didn't leave the hotel!

Taking the Mrs to Bab al Shams this weekend for her birthday. Not a cheap month.

I prefer to take an aisle seat. on Emirates the aisles are so narrow that people have trouble walking down them without knocking passengers in those seats. the trolley's for food/drinks barely pass down them.

I normally go window for that very reason. Plus, I rarely get up once I'm on a flight.

I'm not sure I've ever noticed any difference with how much you're hit when sat in the aisle seat though. It's normally a lot full stop. Worst was on Emirates though, trolley at full tilt straight on my knee whilst asleep.
