Some people are just naturally silly.
Alcohol can make people depressed and not silly - where do you draw the line?

so prop started off on Hot Toddies, like Macscot, was the substitute for antibiotics oh and a glass of Guinness was good for yer bones
My first tipple was Campari.. Then rocket juice white wines.
My drinks of choice now are, Vodka or Gin or Whiskey or Red wine, oh and white wine, dont mind a Brandy now and again and um a Guinness when I go home.

My parents hardly ever drank, so I might have a snowball at christmas and that was it. They could stretch a bottle of Blue Nun for a couple of weeks at Sunday lunch. Sometimes my dad did homebrew which always smelt and tasted pretty disgusting.
First proper boyfriend when I was 17 introduced me to gin and russian, red wine and then pernod and black. He also tried to get me to drink real ale but I found it too harsh so started out with decent ciders courtesy of the Cambridge Beer Festival.
Now my drink choices are a decent, full bodied red wine; proper scrumpy as I am unable to drink beer; and a nice solid, peaty single malt.
