Not that i watch it but yes you are right it was Dr Who that he talks into the fireplace as it is Marie Antoinette he is talking to I dont watch it on principal as I saw David Tennant in another programme about family trees and he was looking for his ancestors up in one of the islands in Scotland and came across a church whilst looking in the records and found the alter in the church being renovated and they discovered bodies in a grave. He picked up one of the skulls and said i wonder if this is one of mine and just chucked it back without any respect for the grave site. Not a fellow Scot I am proud of.

Anyway my son in laws and grandsons all love it and are in deep mourning as the programme is being scrapped next year as the writer wants to venture into other projects.

The off shoot from Dr Who is called Torchwood which is more for the grown ups and this is quite dark and sexy with the gorgeous John Barrowman as Capt Jack

There was a UK show called dancing on ice and he was on it as a contestant wearing tight lycra costumes...he was really quite good!
He also did a two week stint of the "This morning" programme filling in for Philip Scholfield.

Sorry I am having a C.R.A.F.T. moment, you are right on both counts and i love both programmes. I was so upset when he was voted off DOI as he was very good and as for This Morning he was flirting like mad with Fern Britton and very naughty things he was saying. I think Torchwood is back on tv in UK in a few weeks but worth watching if you are just watching it for the first time.

Yes we heard on UK television yesterday of the rumour yet to be confirmed or denied that James Nesbitt could be the next Dr Who. I think he would be very good in the role. He has just finished a serial on BBC here called Jekyll, I didnt see it all but it has great revues so watch out for it down your way
