However I would rather be honest about my age and have people say I look ok for my age, than pretend I am younger and have them think I have had a hard paper-round!

I will be 49 on 16th May - as you say where did the last 10 years go? I still feel as if I am in my early 30's (I time I felt really good about myself) but know I don't look like it anymore.

Well...Some people are in their forties yet they say they are in their twenties...And when you call them on that, they get into a extreme drama mode...

I'm 35...Look 28...Feel and Act 16 most of the time, and then I get told off to grow up, so I get into the halfway mode of 25...And that's my grey hair total quantity btw...

I am comfortable with myself, but would prefer to be a little younger. No nmatter what you say, I reckon most think the same way. People usually guess me as younger and no denying this is nice, but not important.
Besides, people don't age in the same way they used to. Most of us don't give up and go down the pipe and slippers route so quickly.
