we went to Yalumba, lots of lovely food from the al a carte menu and the buffet. Tattinger champagne...500dhs

I have booked a table at the Al Qasr for Brunch on Friday 6th Aug. It will be the last brunch before Ramadan.
It is 500dhs per person.
If anybody would like to join me please let me know before Tuesday.

i hate Yalumba, used to love it, just got the feeling last time i went that they really do stuff as many people as possible.

Saying that, our own fault for having a 1 year old with us..

great and i mean GREAT food though. I love the ala carte menu.

a 4 hour brunch with unlimited drinks, really fab food including lobster/prawns/oysters/ japanesse/thai/chinese/mexican/spanish blah.blah
Roastmeats/steaks/bbq and more desserts than you have seen in 1 place..I think it is a bargain

@commander you defo don't want to take children there darling. The food is really very good considering the numbers they do.
I think it is a good brunch if you know that it is going to be a carcrash brunch..great for people watching too

Just sounds a lot (to a half-Scottish adopted Yorkshireman). Prices have gone up by about 100 doo-dahs for the top end ones since I was there three years ago, and then there's the exchange rate difference.

I'd probably kill myself if I tried to get my money's worth.

I never get my moneys worth at these things. I always end up in the kiddies section eating the nuggets, spag bol and curly fries. By that time I'm too stuffed for the booze...
