Dating Etiquette

Re: Dating Etiquette
I haven't dated for a long time but I was shocked out of my skin when my married muslim neighbour made a pass at me the other night.

That and my sundress I think ... and perhaps the fact that his wife has gone home to Tunisia for a month.
I can't look at him in the same light anymore though.

Re: Dating Etiquette
Thank you Norsk/Ethos,
You have made me look at this in a different light, shagging/dating is like shopping, I'm an impulsive shopper, I see something I like I buy it, (I may regret it later but generally i have good taste so don't want to return things) but I don't hesitate at the store. But when its a big investment in I way up the pros and cons and think about it being very cautious to put my impulsive instints at bay, unless I reallly really REALLY love it and can't resist buying it now matter what it costs!
I wonder if shopping habits actually show how someone is going to be in the sack... hmm interesting- first date we're going shopping lol

Re: Dating Etiquette
most cars i have ever bought i knew the second i saw it that it was the perfect car for me. i look, think for a while, discuss with the salesman and take it for a spin. then i spend anything from 2 hours to a week mulling it over (time spent depends on the odds of it going to someone else in the meantime). saying that there have been times i have really liked the car, gone through the motions and then changed my mind later on.

Re: Dating Etiquette
I don't think your analogy works at all --
I park near the entrance. Race to the store I'm interested in. Buy exactly what I came for. Exit the mall and drive away as quickly as possible. It's over in 5 minutes or less.
Just ask my missus.

Women are like country & western songs ––
They're annoying, they all sound alike, but if you really listen to them you'll get depressed and drink a lot.
