Even the most sophisticated scientific methods can still be flawed 'allegedly'.
HMA -V -McKie...can you put your finger on that 21stC stated case Norm?
I agree the incidence of error can reduce the percentage of errors-however when youu have human intervention ....i.e comparisons, collecting samples etc....you can never say never...... imho

The death penalty isn't a joke and I wouldn't advocate it unless proven far beyond reasonable doubt for the most serious of crimes only...where reform is not an option. People must know civilisation is a priviledge not a right and when they return to the law of the jungle they can expect to be punished by the law of the jungle...
...and I complete resent even a penny of my tax money being used to feed known child rapists, terrorists and murderers - that's one of the reasons I came to a tax free environment.

I was thinking more of those caught in the act, unrepentant and having everything backed up with some serious empirical evidence

Re: condemn knife crimes
Medievil times?..... they had trains and buses in medievil times?
Thought it was drawn carts and cesspits not trains and mortuatries- but suppose you
have prima faciae evidence having been there then.
Gardez L'eau Trigger, your argument's heading towards the pitt

Re: condemn knife crimes
However I think as technology gets better we will see fewer convictions overturned posthumously...assuming the judiciary remains independent and unbiased of course!

Glad you agree with the highest LawLords of the Courts of Justice Norm about the burden of proof.
FWIW, I think many of the young offenders in UK are precluded from acceptable social norm(ooops sorry about that) by accident of heritage ....ie... the product of Mr& Mrs Chav or born with heroin withdrawals or born bereft of a father lost to an illegal war.If you come into this world, born outwith the parametres of the game-how are you possibly expected to grasp the rules....Is it Rudolph Steiner who advises if a kid is disrupting at class at the age of 9.....then be assured he's shaping up as a social misfit....probably is Steiner but will find the validation.
It is a basic human right in a civilised society of every child to expect the nurturing & protection of an adult according to the UN.You seem concerned about the situation in UK.....why don't you go back and instead of perhaps oh, I don't know spending $$$$ on lead or firearms' paraphenalia contribute to improving things in the interest of geneology and your son of course.
Then again I hear a job's just come up in Yugoslavia(that was)
