I watched that whole episode last night. It was quite amusing.
Seems that some people go out of their way to take offence these days and it makes the UK a worse place for it.

Re: Clarkson, in trouble again?
How do you know?
Mind you I can't object......... I was in WH Smith in Tunbridge Wells about two years ago, and a lady asked for my autograph............ when I queried this, she said she assumed 'you must have a new book out, Jeremy'.
In a previous life I was frequently mistaken for Chris Serle, who used to read the funny bits out that viewers had sent in on 'That's Life', the Esther Rantzen show.
Bizarrely and inexplicably, I have hardly ever been mistaken for either George Clooney or Brad Pitt.........

"This is a hard job and I'm not just saying that to win favour with lorry drivers, it's a hard job. Change gear, change gear, change gear, check mirror, murder a prostitute, change gear, change gear, murder. That's a lot of effort in a day."

Re: Clarkson, in trouble again?
Agreed - I thought it was hilarious.
Sky News is making the most of it:
His comments come after serial killer Steve Wright was convicted in February of murdering five prostitutes in Ipswich.
A comment in November 'comes after' a conviction in February??? Tenuous link....

It's about time the the UK got a hold of itself, kicked back at the stupid media and governments, we need civil disobdeience, people not moaning about 'people coming over here taking our jobs' when these people are usually on the dole with 5 kids anyway, it's about time something big happened at home....

that is a great episode, I especially like the argument about if the mini is british or German.
