used to think billy connolly was fab, but he seems to have lost it now...just watched live in london 2010 and it barely raised a smile...he seems to have gone very safe...that said, he is old now, can't believe he's 67...

Canadians have the best comedians.

Here's my Brits...

Peter Sellers
John Cleese (sp?) or anyone involved in Monty Python
Benny Hill
Prince Charles (I like his global warming and PETA-type skits)
Douglas Adams
Clive Anderson
Sacha Baron Cohen
Rowan Atkison
Dudley Moore (Lovable one hit wonder)

He's got to that stage where he laughs more at his jokes than the audience does. Mrs Billy ought to tell him, she knows a thing or two about that sort of thing.

Re: British Comedy

Far from delusional... Many of the States' best comedians hail from Canada. Often they aren't listed as Canadians because they eventually change their nationality after achieving fame.

Jim Carrey
Phil Hartman
Terrance (South Park)
SCTV
The Kids in the Hall

particle.physics.ucdavis.edu/canadians/comedians.html

Mind you, I'm not Canadian... and the above lists aren't at all complete. In the states it's a pretty well known joke that their best comedians are from Canada. The joke being that the Canadians are so frozen and bored, that comedy is a survival skill.

To whoever's holding the real Umbrella hostage and posting in his name:

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let Umbrella go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.
