A Brilliant Lawyer
You have probably all read the story about the allegedly married Pakistani couple who were caught by the Police having sex in their car in a public car park near Jumeirah Beach Residences. Although the idea of a married couple having sex in a car itself seems a little unusual, what surprised me is how their lawyer managed to convince the court that the Police were invading their privacy and that, having sex in their car was no different than having sex in their bedroom. A brilliant argument! If I ever get caught doing something naughty, I will have to engage the services of Dr. Riyadh and Partners to represent me. Incidentally I thought having tinted glass was supposed to be against the law. Anyway, thumbs up to the lawyer who managed to beat the UAE judicial system. The Dubai kissing couple should have used him.

I think that's brilliant.
I do wonder why they bother with such laws though - unless they are doing something in a public area where people can see the police should just tell them to go home and leave it at that.
There's no precendent here so this ruling can and will be ignored...people will still be arrested for snogging in the car at 3am in a dark alley...no doubt because of the serious threat to social stability it creates
