I really don't want to sound horrible here, but lets face it - she's dead.

i'm sure you're right, but the parents just need it to be solved, one way or the other...they can't get on with their lives until they know what happened, it must be horrendous for them...

Raymond Hewlet is not unknown to the police, he was originally arrested for the death of Lesley Molseed in the 70's, was released and a guy called Stefan Kiszko was charged, he was later given a royal pardon due to the fact that the sperm found at the scene wasn't his, he was actually infertile. Two years ago West Yorkshire Police arrested Ronald Castree and he is now serving time for her murder. Hewlet am sure was involved in this case in the early days and am not convinced that Castree is the right man.

I agree the McCann's need closure one way or the other. Very sad.

very very sad i just cant imagine what they are going through....

I know i may get slaughtered for this but how on earth you can leave your kids in a hotel apartment without any supervision is beyond me...

I don't think i would either but i have no kids so i can't really comment.

My bro and sis in law went away for the weekend with my niece when she was just months old and they went down to dinner in the hotel and left her in the room sleeping.
They would never do this now after what happened to Maddie but they are really good parents and so protective of my nieces but they thought it was better for her to have her sleep.

Anyway what i'm trying to say is i don't think bad of the McCann's and they deserve some closure.

I know I couldn't do it, but we mustn't judge them really. When this kicked off two years ago there were major discussions on said subject on here, got quite heated at times.

Many are though,judged for abandoning their kids- in courts of Law on a daily basis.

yeah you're right, I just feel the McCann's have paid their price for their stupidity.

is it me or is there just something strangley odd about the whole thing.....

in the beginning I felt that way, but not now, if there had been any foul play it would have come to light by now

i just find it all too strange that no one has seen anything, not a single sighting or a single lead.....its like she vanished into thin air...

I said it on here when it happened and I stick by my opinion...I still think there is more thatl meets the eye with team McCann.

At best they are irresponsible stupid ****wits..

At worst hell, who knows..

yes theres definately something amiss....
