Re: Beirut
Let us know how it goes - I've heard it's really good and wouldn't mind going for a bit of a visit myself.

Re: Beirut
It depends what you like, I went a couple of years ago - try and get yourself up into the mountains, the villages are lovely and its a great drive, you can also get a cable car up into the mountains as well. if you like Casino's there is only one on the outskirst, you can get immediate membership (but men must wear a tie)
I also enjoyed going down to the seafront and eating in the local restaurants
Enjoy and let us all know - I personally love Beirut

Re: Beirut
come out and turn right and there's some nice little restuarants, a great lebo place, plus entrico (or summat) where you just order a drink and tell them how you like your steak and they just bring you steak and chips, ace.
Go to Mono Street and Germayzie (or summat) for bars, proper little boozers,
oh and anything goes there, drink, drugs, whatever - it's brilliant, let your hair down and have fun mate, I'll be back in June, can't wait.

Re: Beirut
Serious you can do what you like, be respectful and have fun, they love to party over there, you'll love it.
Also don't expect too much as a city, I heard it was 'the paris of the middle east', it has amazing architecture but a lot of the city is crumbling and falling to bits.
It's still great though.
