I seriously cannot belive that anyone thinks Dan Brown is a good writer! His style is appalling. Da Vinci Code (although totally nicked from other books) and Angels & demons were just about readable, but the other two are utter shite.

GA - there is a reason why we get loads for the booksales - apart from the fact that loads were sold - no one rates them enough to keep or re-read them.

On the other hand Sebastian Faulks is a great writer and Birdsong is a fantastic book.

I only read the Da Vinci code and Angels and Demons, to be honest with you that was enough. They still sell though

they are trashy and easy to read, perfect if you're on an aeroplane or whatever. I enjoyed them, even though they were shite.
