Years ago when they brought in the EID and you had to go for a interview to give your print etc the nice local chap asked my religion. I ansered 'I'm not religious'.... His face turned to a 'does not compute' type confusion. He then said you must be, and I said I wasn't.... in the end we went with Christian. I was tempted to go Rasta but thought that may be more trouble than the joke was worth.

So I live in a Hotel Apartment, and do not have a Tenancy Agreement as such, do I not qualify to apply for a licence??

I can never get my head round why people who can actually get a license do not. The grey area of this law has been in force for years.
In a split second after a few too many you could find yourself in a bit of an altercation and that little red pice of plastic which costs 200 dibs could be your get out of jail card .... Literally !
