Quite cold on the weekend -5c
I lasted 45kms on the bike until I called it quits Saturday morning. The two canal pics were taken Sunday, the kayakers were breaking the ice.
The snow one was taken about an hour ago from my balcony and you can't quite see it but there is a narrow boat in that picture. He ain't going anywhere in a hurry! We have it pretty easy in Surrey, other parts of the country are way worse. 'enjoy'

No snow yet on the Devon coast, which is fine by me!
20 years in the icier parts of Canada cured me of the romance of the white stuff.
Here's our back garden today.
It looks as if the UK is settled back into long cold winters such as we had in the '60s and '70s. Does this affect anyone's plans to return, or where to return to if you have the choice?

Not seen much snow here in London either. The real problem has been the biting wind. It really has been unpleasant walking in such cold conditions. I'm hoping the winds ease off soon, even if that means the nights get even colder

Brits, are you saying you can't get your pics off your camera? You'll need a cable from the camera to a USB port on your computer (that should have come with it, I think) or a thing that holds the memory card from in the camera. You plug that into the USB port. In either case, you just move the pics onto your computer.
Or you can download them here directly. You have to go to the "manage attachments" box below. That's the secret that isn't obvious!

That is just so British "carry on" kind of humour!! Do you feel happier and "lighter" over there TB? I know I laughed more in that one year than I have in 10 years here.........
It's not like I don't laugh here because I do sometimes........but not in that laughing so much you are crying kind of way....

Hi can anybody help...I have loads of lovely snowy pictures but for the life of me I cannot get them to load onto my Av. could someone (in dot order....lol) tell me how to load my pictures...mainly from my camera...cheers...it has just taken two hours to clear our drive of snow...
I just press the attach paper clip icon and load from my pc, but I only usually do one pic as mine are mega pixels.

Ah that's not good about Mrs TB
I wonder if she has "that" feeling that we have not living in the UK? Does she prefer Australia or Korea? If she wants to move back to her home would you go?
