That's too bad, she has been such an example of perseverance in the expat-repat challenges of life. I hope she comes on here to check replies - hang in there, (Doctor) WhoFan, we are rooting for you and hope things improve! :fingerscrossed:

I'm so sorry to hear this! Her posts were always so positive and encouraging that it was a pleasure to follow along with her in her homeward journey. And I know her last posts (around Christmas?) seemed contented.

Hoping she can feel better soon....

Thank you....here's hoping, but still feeling positive :)

Whofan, what an awful time you have had and you still manage to stay positive. I am thinking of you and hope that it won't be too long before the doctors figure out what is wrong and can treat you accordingly. Take care. I am sending you a big hug!

I also believe she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia if I recall a post she made towards the back end of last year. That can be a physically exhausting condition and I can understand why she may not be able to continue with the job she had when she first returned. Hopefully rest will allow her to figure out how to manage the condition and she can be back on her feet soon as I do remember she was doing a lot of walking and visiting new places on her days off.

Take care Whofan and hope too hear from you soon.

Thanks hon and if I have anything to do with it, those long walks will continue.. :)

I thought I would send along an update on Linzi who went back to Lancashire from Arizona last year. I am fortunate to be friends with her on facebook as I don't think she has posted in a long time.

She has been very unwell, and now can no longer work, at least for the foreseeable future. I will not post the details as I respect her privacy. If she wishes she may do so herself.

So I am just asking all of you who remember her, and how encouraging she was for so many of us on BE, to take time to post a little something to brighten her day.

Thank you dear Brits!

Thanks Monique, you're right all these messages do truly get inside my soul and are a better balm for all that ails me. :) You're a sweetheart. xx Love ya lots :)
