Typical night on British TV - the Pride of Britain Awards: http://www.prideofbritain.com/ - two hours of TV-watching in awe of some of the most amazing people that Britain has to offer. I had a lump in my throat half the time.

) I actually think he's lovely and lots of the language stuff is just part of his 'tv personality'. I thought he was great when he did faking it years ago and that showed a truer personality

I also used to work with someone who married a filthy rich guy, she had her reception at Claridges with him doing the food (again before he was super famous), she said he seemed a really nice guy and didn't swear once.

He was sat a few rows behind me at the LA Galaxy game the other week, sat in Posh's box. (That doesn't sound right does it

You're the creator of your own reality! It might be a hell hole where you are but there are plenty of people like myself who don't live in "hell holes".Just for the record there are hell holes in every country or do you just have tunnel vision when it comes to the UK?

swindon is the place for roundabouts , the magic roundabout is like taking your life into your hands . Inregards to milton keynes it reminds me very much of australia with its blandness.

I`ve read that its a recommended place to live, with good property prices and amenities, along with the M4 connection to London

When my hubby got offered a job in Milton Keynes, I was not happy, the only thing you ever here about the place is its full of roundabouts, and all concrete, it even has concrete cows

Once I moved there though I loved the place, the road system works brilliantly, its based on a grid with horizontal and vertical roads, with a roundabout at every junction. You go a bit dizzy sometimes but it works really well, and if there is a hold up anywhere you just hang a right at the next roundabout and carry on your merry way.
There are also loads of little parks in all the estates, lots of the roads are built higher than the surrounding area, so when you are driving there you don't see anything, which is what gives people the impression its very bland.
It has great shopping, the snow dome, theatres, restaurants, bars, clubs, lakes. Its very clean in comparison to lots of places in England, and there is plenty of work around, and commutable to lots of places.
I'd go back without any hesitation its a great place to live.
The magic roundabout in Swindon is fun though

I saw Jimmy Carr live the other week, now there is a man who knows how to offend minority groups!

We lived in Milton Keynes for ten years before coming to Canada. It's certainly growing these days, lots to do, good for shopping and getting around is really easy. Personally we wouldn't move back there as we're seeking something different on our return to the UK (hopefully December). We're looking at Wiltshire so I can always do a few circles around the magic roundabout in Swindon if I need a fix.
