My niece is returning to UK today from Montreal but I don't think she's a BE member. I'm living vicariously through her at the moment!

I thought you might be! Flight details so we can fly with you in spirit and revel in that glorious moment when you get off the plane and realise you are HOME! Have a great flight and hope the pooch is relaxed and happy once you get to the other side

I think HappyGlow's flight might be KLM 682, leaving Vancouver (YVS) at 4 pm into Amsterdam (AMS)

Hopefully HappyGlow can confirm that by coming onto BE before they leave for the airport...lol Plus we need to know the connecting fight details from Amsterdam

I think she might be taking a train from Amsterdam to Paris but not sure. Seems a train would take a while to get from one to the other.

I know that once she arrives in Paris, she doesn't take any more flights - it's train, taxi and ferry to her destination.

Thinking of HappyGlow She must be ecstatic now - having her last cup of tea before getting ready to leave for airport perhaps

Scheduled departure 4pm PDT I wouldn't be drinking too much tea because I'd have to keep going to the bathroom I'd be so excited..

Flying is fun at the best of times - and exciting wherever you are going - but to fly and know you are going home!!!! It must be FANTASTIC!

I agree! I'm spending so much time on You Tube lately watching planes landing at Dublin and Manchester..lol.

I love flying...but mostly the take off and the landing, because the middle bit is kind of boring...lol. That moment when you first see land and realise you are getting closer and then the pilot says 'Cabin crew - prepare for landing' then the butterflies start.

You must be so excited, too - it's only a few weeks away now

I just found another flight that could be HappyGlow's. There's another 4 pm departure - KLM 214 - same airports and same time. Arrival time is about 40 minutes different.
