The 'Bon Voyage' Thread! - Flight Tracker!

The onward flight doesn't leave for another 2hrs 15 minutes
Have to love the flight tracker.. LOL I would be biting my nails right now, just itching to get on that last flight and to leave the US coastline behind.
I bet they are so tired already! But hopefully they can sleep on the next flight

Hey you guys, thanks SO much for cheerleading our journey!!!
All the support just makes my heart happy.
As some of you know, my husband is a recent quadriplegic and just 3 months to the day since discharge from hospital. The longest he has been out of bed at one time prior to this, has been 9 hours, he gets really uncomfortable as he can't move and shift position to relieve pressure as you and I do without even thinking about it.
From the time I got him up in LA, and packed his special air mattress, until I had it set up at home here, he had been out of bed for 25 hours. He was such a trouper and I'm so proud of him.
The kitties were little troupers too and so happy to see us that they are not at all turning the cold shoulder to me which I had fully expected!
I've been home a lot myself in the last few years to stay with dad who's 92 now and perhaps the biggest reason for us making the move as we did but it still hasn't sunk in yet that I'm here for good and I don't have to rush to get everything done before I have to leave again, I can just get on with living now, here, at HOME.

It was so much fun watching your flights on FlightAware and knowing that you were getting ever so closer and closer to touching down in Edinburgh. It almost felt like I was on that flight with you and cheering you on.
Can't wait to see a photo of where you call home now
Sit down...relax and breathe .. because you are HOME!
